Everything was excellent, me and my son liked the stay. The setting was excellent and particularly good. And I was just off a great restaurant Fangas Maior, the attractions of Coimbra, and the city centre.

Place was nice and right next to a great museum. The staff was really kind and amiable to chat with. Really nice facilities, everything we needed was there. We could enjoy views of the park.

Rooms were rather small.

Just perfect place to visit. Friendly and great staff, and the best host ever. Brand-new room, complete with the balcony, a fantastic view plus separate washer.

Our host, Ismael, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. He greeted us at the bus station and gave us a car tour of the city, offering valuable advice and pointing out important sites. The apartment was beautifully decorated, and we were welcomed with Port wine. The highlight was the huge deck with a stunning view of the river. The location was ideal, close to everything. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall, it’s excellent base for exploring Coimbra tourist places. I am very satisfied with affable and brilliant staff and terrific service. Recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Coimbra.

This apartment is housed in the historic building with views of the park. It has stunning setting near to historic town centre, the old town and especially the famous and wonderful library.

Service was terrific, we all had wonderful experience.

I felt like family from the moment I arrived. Carlos, the owner, personally welcomed me and even gave me a tour of the city before dropping me off at the apartment. The suite itself was clean and well-equipped, with a lovely bottle of port waiting for me. The location couldn't have been better, just a short walk to the University. Despite a small issue with hot water, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Casas Da Alegria. I highly recommend this hotel.
